As a Sr. Account & Media Executive, you are the central communicator and connection point between clients and
Chamoy Creative. Your role is essential to ensuring that all client projects are managed seamlessly, and that our team consistently delivers outstanding results. General Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in agency, media, or account management is highly preferred but not
mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Strong industry knowledge, including a solid understanding of trends, key players, and the advertising/creative
landscape.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly as required.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedules to align with client time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exemplify strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail, maintaining organization while
managing multiple client and internal projects simultaneously.
- Effectively oversee a high volume of projects, using sound judgment to prioritize, delegate, and escalate matters
to Directors when necessary.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate agency billing and cost tracking while identifying
opportunities to optimize processes and generate additional revenue for the agency.
- Demonstrate exceptional client management skills, from setting meeting agendas and aligning project
schedules to leading client-facing calls, delivering impactful presentations, and advocating for the agency’s
point of view when needed.
- Plan and oversee client and internal projects to ensure timely, on-budget, and on-scope completion. Develop
detailed task outlines and delegate effectively using project management software and time-tracking tools.
- Partner with interdepartmental teams to complete assignments accurately and efficiently, ensuring deliverables
exceed client expectations.
- Manage client budgets and cost controls, assisting in developing estimates, recommendations, and proposals
while actively monitoring budgets and media spends.
- Support and lead business development efforts, including preparing client proposals, RFPs, and pitches for
new services.
- Stay current with industry trends and insights, identifying innovative ideas and strategies to pitch to clients or
expand existing scopes of work.
- Supervise account coordinators and media coordinators, fostering their development while ensuring team
productivity and account success.
- Drive operational efficiency by finding creative solutions to improve workflows and team productivity.
- Ensure the accuracy of all final deliverables, guaranteeing error-free client assets and work.
- Assist in media strategy & planning, including purchasing and securing traditional, non-traditional, digital media.
- Develop comprehensive media plans based on research to target audience behaviors and campaign goals,
identifying optimal media channels and negotiating advantageous rates for clients.
- Motivate and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances both individual and
collective performance.
- Monitor media campaigns and establish reporting systems for the client.
- Establish and manage media budgets.
- Track accounting, invoicing for all media placed.
- Assist in establishing a media department for Chamoy Creative.
- Assist in overseeing the Account Services department along with Directors for Chamoy Creative.
Skill Set/Knowledge:
Education and Language Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
preferred.
- Native English speaker or fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
